About this Guide
This Software Services Guide (SSG) is designed to assist you in deciding whether to engage the professional design and engineering services offered by Monad Functor. It contains details regarding:
- Our corporate details and team structure.
- The design, development, and advisory services we provide.
- How we estimate, invoice, and bill for our software projects.
- Our code warranties, intellectual property rights, and professional indemnity cover.
Our Services & Specializations
Monad Functor is a full-service mobile agency specializing in the custom design, development, and maintenance of mobile and connected software. We are specialized in:
- Native mobile applications (iOS Swift, Android Kotlin).
- Logic-shared cross-platform systems (Kotlin Multiplatform).
- Mobile UI/UX Design Systems (Figma and code integration).
- Codebase audits, performance optimization, and architectural upgrades.
How We Are Paid
We believe in transparent, value-driven pricing models. Remuneration for our software development and strategy services consists of:
- Time & Materials (Agile Sprints): Billed bi-weekly based on actual developer hours spent. Ideal for projects with evolving scopes or scaling needs.
- Fixed-Scope Estimates: A set price for a fully specified set of deliverables, outlined in a Statement of Work (SOW).
- Maintenance & Support Retainers: A fixed monthly fee to secure developer availability for OS updates, hotfixes, and minor iterations.
Code Ownership & IP
Upon full payment of all outstanding project invoices, Monad Functor transfers 100% of the Intellectual Property (IP)—including git repositories, Figma design assets, documentation, and app store configurations—to your business. We write clean, open-standard code with zero proprietary lock-in.
Insurance & Liabilities
We maintain active professional indemnity and public liability insurance policies to cover software delivery and professional advisory services, safeguarding your project against unexpected errors or technical omissions.
What to Do if You Have a Project Concern
We take client satisfaction very seriously. If you have any concerns regarding a project milestone, communication, or code quality, please consult our Project Escalation Policy (Complaints Policy). We aim to address all issues within two business days.
